Project details:

Objective: Illumination of glass backsplash, finger rails, island surface, side work surface, under cabinet, cabinet fronts (symmetrically) and introduce pendants to island and table areas.

Lighting: A mixture of John Cullen, Tala and Foscarini luminaries and the use of Soraa LED lamps allowing for various beam angle lenses to prefect the scheme.

Control: Rako modules at each location allowed via localised power supplies but wirelessly linked allowed for the illusion of a single circuit for plinth lighting and for finger rail lighting. Rako allowed for additional circuits within the ceiling, under unit lighting & within units. Scene selection at discreet wall plates can be tweaked in-app by the end user and occupancy sensors offer convenience of low level lighting when passing through at night without needing to turn anything on or off.
